We are committed to providing a prepared environment that encourages children to develop practical, intellectual, physical and social discipline.
The structured setting and qualified instructor encourage independence, self-discipline, confidence, and respect for a child’s private and public lives. Elite works to provide a setting that encourages kids to develop to their full potential while adhering to the educational philosophies and practices created by Dr. Maria Montessori.
Children who receive a Montessori education can begin to enjoy learning at a young age. Each child works and learns in a non-competitive environment at his or her own speed and according to his or her abilities.
Working with kids of different ages in the same setting encourages both intellectual and social development. The teaching ratio at Elite Montessori is one certified Montessori adult for (roughly) every set of 13 children, with the exception of infant and toddler groups (whose ratio is governed by local social service rules). The adult is educated to work with one child at a time and to supervise kids while they complete a variety of tasks rather than speaking to a large or small group of kids.
Vajra's Elite Montessori is accredited and recognized by the Indian Montessori Center (IMC).
